Scary stuff. I'm selfishly glad that I'm not a guy & that Mark's too old (although he is a veteran, out for 10 years, so I always have a little worry in the back of my mind that they'll make him go back.)
I was shocked that so many were drafted for WWII - I guess I had this naive idea that our veterans of that war were all enlisted men who wanted to go & fight. Duh. I will blame my ignorance on movies romanticizing WWII & that whole era.
