Very entertaining, though pitiful. Why don't the thieves just say "I took it and you can't stop me"? Do they feel better about themselves by providing excuses?

Well,I don't recall anyone actually saying it was okay,but yes,those are exactly the excuses I used to use when I would steal CD's..you're very clever
Anyways,no,It didn't make me feel better by providing excuses because at the end of the day I took them and nobody stopped me!
