I know this doesn't answer your question at all. I guess you just got me thinking. I just don't know what the hell it is we all want - do we just love to debate? Meet other people? (although not usually in person) Gossip? Joke around with one another? Try to prove our point, whether it's supporting gay marriage or supporting Stevie wearing a different dress?

why not do both, like me? hehehe. But, I like it because of all the things you mentioned. It's fun to talk to people about "other stuff", still knowing that they love the Mac. Plus, i do love hearing different people's opinions...
