I heard some of this radio interview today on my local classic rock station. I didn't hear the whole thing. Forgot it was on & missed the first half hour. I'm probably the only person in the world that still records on cassette, but I taped the last half hour. I started listening when he talks about the making of Tusk, & during this hour, they played a few Mac songs. They talked about his new CD & band, & he's planning to tour with them next year; I don't know how extensive it will be though. They played a song from his new CD; Passions I think the song was called. I don't have his new CD, but I liked this song. Anyway, the interviewer says to him, "So if this thing with your new band doesn't work out, I guess you'll be back with Fleetwood Mac sooner?" Mick laughs & says, "Well, we're not sure yet." He said, "The likelihood is there; Lindsay is keen on the idea, & Steve just wants to rest right now. We've been working for three years & we need a rest, well, not me. We'll know what the plans are after Christmas. It's not going to be a problem."
I'm thinking new Mac CD will be recorded sometime next year & possible tour sometime after that, but this is anyone's guess. This is what I'm hoping for though.
