I think the way we do it now, w/ just a few going out at a time, seems to work better. The guest can certainly choose not to answer ?'s also, and that obviously is out of our control.

I have the difficult job of choosing the ?'s that go out. I try to avoid repeats, and to get ?'s from all the different 'eras'. I think we got a great variety of questions for John. The one we got the most of is 'what is your favorite song to do onstage/what's your fave song from the SYW tour' types...and he has pretty much said a few times already that he has no favorites, so I'm not sure how many more of those types wll go out...but otherwise I still have a *large* bunch to be forwarded. I sorted through the entire group of remaining ?'s the other night and I ended up crying a little, there was just so much love expressed there, it was very moving!!

He seems to want to really keep at it so hopefully lots more answers will come in within the next couple of months. I kind of like the 'no time frame' idea, that way there's no pressure to get X amount of ?'s answered by a certain time....he can just do it when he feels like it; when i get some answers back i just send a few more ?'s out-- so in the end we probably get way more replies than if we had a 'please be done by this date' arrangement.

Wow that got long. Sorry! Hope now everyone has a better idea of the process. Thanks!

Sounds like you're handling it very well. How wonderful of John to do this for us! And thank you for managing the process and everything else you do for fans.
