Well, no, not normal, but not unexpected either.
Considering that I'm sure he had several employees & family members to care for him (ie. bathe, massage, therapy, turning & positioning, etc.) I think it's incredibly sad that an infected bedsore ultimately led to his death. So unnecessary.
