Here's a truth life story. The other day I got a bill for 120.38. I wrote a check (it was to the county treasurer)--for 102.38. They kindly sent it back to me and pointed out it was for the wrong amount. I seem to have math dyslexia--I don't have it when I'm reading or writing but boy, when I'm doing math--it's there. I have a habit of switching numbers around and I've done it for years now.

Another example: Currently there is close to a $1000 difference in what the banks says I have in my checking account and what I think I have in my checking account. This has gone on for months now and each month, the total gets larger and larger. Luckily, they say I have more than I think I have or I'd be frantic. This gives you some idea of my math skills!
DeeGeMe - Hello There!
It sounds like you "suffer" from the same thing I do...mild dyscalculia...It's an under acknowledged learning challenge... I do the same thing as you do from time to time
and I have similar "banking issues"...
