[QUOTE=MikeBangle]Excuse me? Just what are you referring to here?

Ever heard of Iraq? Just how many Americans have been killed over lies? Just how many Iraqi's have been killed over Bush's lies? As we sit here and type our arguments onto this board, American children are having their limbs blown off, Iraqi children and elderly citizens are being bombed, people are living in streets full of human waste and sewage, there is no clean water, no economy. Shall I go on? Just how many people have suffered and died because of Bush's lies?

Oh really? That's why the International Mother and Child HIV Prevention Initiative was passed in 2002 and only appropriated $500 million in funds over two years. That isn't peanuts, kid. Not only is it too little, but it ignores the fact that in the time it takes for the whole $500 million to be doled out, AIDs infections shared between mothers and their children would spread almost 33%. In the two years it has taken for the money to be spread out, 6 million have died. Also, the second installment of $300 million from that same initiative has not been fully allocated yet.

In 2002, Bill Frist (shocking, eh), John Kerry, and Ted Kennedy intorduced an AIDs package that would have given $5 billion in AIDs assistance. Bush refused to sign the bill.

Randall Tobias, a man with no experience in fighting AIDs, was appointed by Bush to head the Emergency Plan for AIDS. He was the ex-CEO of Ely Lilly.

In his most recent State of the Union address, Bush promised $15 billion to fight AIDs. How much has he actually allocated to fight AIDs since then? $350 million. Out of that supposed $15 billion, only $1 billion has been allocated to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and (surprise surprise) they haven't seen a dime yet.

Bush has privatized the manner in which Africa can purchase drugs to fight AIDs. If they want the money, he demands that they use it to purchase the drugs from GlaxoSmithKline instead of using generics. The very same drug company that has contributed $30 million dollars to his campaign. That means that much less drugs will be purchased for much more money.

Bush is also trying to push his abstinence program across the globe. That's simply unrealistic and a waste of good money.

Bus has also abandoned the UN-backed Global AIDS initiative and only gave 6.6% of what was needed to it in 2004.

What the HELL are you talking about? We are helping the Sudanese massacre each other? I guess the conspiracy theorists are really working overtime.... Do you honestly believe this craptrap?
Yes, we are helping them commit those atrocities by refusing to help them. We're too concerned with arresting Danny Glover for protesting the Sudanese genocide. So, tell me: What are we doing to stop the murders of millions? The Bush administration even told the Congress not to refer to it as genocide!
