Trust me, Gerald, I have given that song so many chances over the years.
I want to like it... I really do. But I don't.
And it's not that I find it irritating in any way... my first impression of Lindsey's 'Tusk' songs was that they were all just a discordant mess. But then, I was struck by what Lindsey was trying to get across... that exuberant and carefree spirit of an abstract painting.
It's just that "Save Me A Place" commits the ultimate musical sin for me: It
bores me.
