I'm totally in your corner where "That's All For Everyone," "That's Enough For Me," "Walk A Thin Line," "The Ledge" and "Not That Funny" are concerned. Those are all incredible and interesting songs, that deserve to stay and fight to the very end.
It's just that I don't think "Save Me A Place" is all that interesting.
I don't mind the simplicity of the lyrics... it's not about that at all. I think he very effectively gets his point across with few words.
It's the thumping, plodding tempo that kills it dead in its tracks for me.
"That's All For Everyone" is the song I feel is most deserving of all of our praise, and the song that deserved a battle to save it from elimination.
Instead, it was unfairly sacrificed.
"TAFE" so beautifully conveys the genius of Lindsey's 'Tusk' mindset and approach, while "SMAP" falls on its face.
This is all, of course, only my opinion. But, for me, "TAFE" succeeds in all the places "SMAP" fails.
