"Destiny Rules" has always baffled me: is "rules" supposed to be a verb ("destiny rules our lives") or a noun ("traffic rules")? I think it's just another senseless nothing of a phrase, the sort of phrase you'd find in a junior high yearbook next to your classmate's signature. It's vapid (when anyone starts talking about destiny, I generally check out) but it's nonetheless the kind of thing that strikes lots of people as profound.
Of course, maybe Stevie had the right idea when she wrote:
My destiny says that I'm destined to come.
