The Democrat House and Senate do not meet again until September 2. So by default nothing will be done and then it will be to late because they are within the 60 day deadline.
Remember, he is resigning because a jilted lover is suing him for forcing him to have sex, which if you think about it is hard to believe. The governor has not been charged with any gross incompetence with respect to his job.
