MY WORDS ARE ALL IN CAPS OK!!!GOD WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT THIS SONG,IT'S BEAUTIFUL AND EVERYTIME I HEAR IT I'M AT A LOSS OF WORDS.JUST THE ARTISTRY AND RAW EMOTION SHOULD BE ENOUGH FOR ANYONE,BUT THIS SONG IS A LOT DEEPER THEN THAT.ANYBODY WHO IS ANYBODY HAS FELT THIS WAY ABOUT ANOTHER HUMAN BEING,BUT NO ONE ELSE COULD HAVE WRITTEN THESE WORDS BUT STEVIE.IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE IN INTERVIEWS SHE SAYS STUFF LIKE "I WROTE THIS SO IT WILL BUG HIM FOR YEARS TO COME" AND THAT'S TRUE TO AN EXTENT,BUT SHE MEANS EVERY,SINGLE,SOLITARY WORD IN THIS SONG AND SAYS THOSE THINGS IN INTERVIEWS TO COVER UP HOW HURT SHE IS.EVEN THOUGH IF I WAS HIM HEARING THIS ON THE RADIO I WOULD PROBALY HAVE MAJOR REGRETS BUT LINDSEY IS MUCH STRONGER THEN THAT.STILL HE HAS ADMITTED THAT IT FELT INTENSE DURING PERFORMACES.KINDA LIKE HOW STEVIE FEELS DURING "GYOW".I'LL TRY MY VERY BEST TO INTERPRET THIS SONG BECAUSE IT'S ONE OF MY FAVS:

Easy enough extremely REPETITVE but i think that was obviously the point of the song. To make him or even the BOTH of them realize that there will always be something there between them no matter how much he denies it or flaunts the PAST for that matter.This is simply another exquisite glimpse inside her restless soul that needs his undying love.The difference between this song though and all her other love songs about him is that the live performance means so much more.Battle between their love and hate for eachother.Battle between her voice and his guitar.Neither of them ends up winning in the end because they realize the inevitable truth that there will ALWAYS be something there between them.
