I like jewelry bought for me (not expensive, though, i wear silver. $20 tops!
) but i certainly don't expect it or really care. You could bring me a leaf, and i'd be like "AAAAHHH, A PRESENT!!! THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!"
It's kind of more that someone had the sentiment to THINK of bringing you a present that is important, rather than what the present actually is. Like when you're other randomly picks up yummy food you like, or is suddenly like "wanna go (wherever you like to go)? C'mon!"
But it doesn't count if someone buys you a present cause they want it! Unless you ALSO want it, as in, you BOTH would want it.
