It was a soiree - AND YES - there were ropes and pullies involved - but my last clear recollection was a large, ill dressed sensible woman with bad hair operating them - the same one that hoovered up my spinach dip, got swilled on beer, and tried to beat me up - all the year before when I was mimicing La Nicks while dancing on top of my Steinway M from the 30's.
