Thanks for the interview. Peter is a fascinating person to read about. When I read his interviews I can't help but cast a vaguely skeptical eye at some of what he says sometimes because of his difficulties in the past. I wonder -- did this or that happen and he just doesn't remember? or did it really never happen the way we've always been told it happened?
But in interviews like this one, he often comes across so straight forward and matter of fact . . . seems very clued in, and detailed and remembers precisely what he's talking about. It makes reading his interviews always interesting, and also a bit of a guessing game in some ways.
It's always interesting to hear how he thought/thinks of himself and his abilities in contrast to all of the other things said about him. As far as he's concerned, he's just Peter who was doing what he felt he needed to do, and he doesn't really get all the fuss.
