I kinda disagree a bit there. Out of The Cradle could have been a lot more commercially successful, had the company been behind it 100%. There are so many great albums nobody bought, like Buckingham Nicks. I believe you can make almost anything sell to some extent, it just takes the right promotion, with the biggest budget, and the right timing and whatever... So many factors to consider. I'm not saying Lindsey's solo stuff would sell as much as Rumours or anything, but it could sell better.
And, if selling more CD's means resorting to making music thats totally generic or middle-of-the-road, then I think I'd rather he didnt sell a billion albums.
