Heheh this is a debate which should go into its own thread, but I've always felt that The Chain refers to the music, not the band. This is why it can be played through any Fleetwood Mac unit. I felt odd listening to Lindsey playing it on his solo tour - but then thought about it and realized that he brought his own interpretation, just like they did with the Tango tour, adjusting for new/lost members. I just think that The Chain's come to represent the music period of F-Mac, not necessarily the Rumours line-up/chain sticking together.
