Lindsey truly has gotten wilder the longer this tour has gone on! My husband couldn't believe how he was flinging those guitars around - ca-ching!

I thought Stevie was a little hesitant at first last night, but as the night wore on she really got into it. Red Rover, a song I don't have any strong feelings about one way or the other, was fabulous live. The chorus part where he sings "We've come to take you over" was so deep and almost menacing - way cool.

My daughter (who just turned 12 last week), knew almost every song, and danced the whole night. We also gave a ticket to a very close friend as a 30th birthday gift. She had never seen FM before, although she is my "Stevie buddy" and we've gone to her solo shows together. I wanted to bring her to Boston for the DVD taping, but she had a 5 month old at the time that refused to bottle feed! ANYWAY, Colleen is preggers again and very emotional. When Stevie sang beautiful child, we both had tears streaming down our faces. (And NO, I'm NOT preggers - yikes!!! - just totally touched by that song)

On our way out (down the big hill to the auxillary parking), we saw a police car with it's lights flashing, and a limo & a town car following it. Everyone stopped to applaud, although I can't imagine the band would be leaving so quickly after the show. It was 11:05 when this happened, and Newark Airport doesn't have a curfew as far as I'm aware, does it? Could you imagine being stuck in a car in close proximity to Mike or LB after they've sweated all night?? EWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!

Sorry I didn't get to meet anyone else who was there - we were far back, relatively speaking. (16th row)
