Howard Dean killed his campaign because he only catered to the left-wingers, not
democrats. While I liked some of the things he said because I'm quite the lefty (
), his schtick was not going to work in battleground states and the primary voters knew it. So they voted for Kerry.
He can go to Oregon, he can go to California, he can go to West Virginia, he can go to New Mexico, he can go all the way to Washington DC ("Yeeeeeaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaw!"), but that doesn't mean he's going to appeal to the people.
