Gotten lots of e-mail about this, including some good suggestions. Consider this a response to all of you:
Bandwidth, as someone so eloquently pointed out, shouldn't be an issue because converting a high-quality 24-bit track to MP3 would sorta defeat the purpose. So there's that. But I could still trade on CD.
Several have said they have things from that era but don't think they're very high quality. If it's interesting and sounds decent, that's okay. It can be cleaned up a little, and I'm not really expecting something the quality of the remastered bonus discs.
