i just downloaded alanis morissette's new album So Called Chaos and i'm soooooo disappointed... i highly respect alanis, but c'mon.. that's a really uninspired effort here... seems like she's rocking harder this time just in order to hide the songwriting's sinking, goddamnit, she had songs 10 times better than these on Feast On Scraps!
the production is also basic (not to use the word "primitive"), and other then This Grudge and Everything i can't note any songs i can really like, and this is the 3rd time i'm listening, this is not a good sign!
i still hope it'll grow on me coz otherwise i'd be very pissed, i don't think we should be getting such crappy music from her. i'm giving this album the weekend to improve, and if it doesn't work, Morrissey's You Are The Quarry's gonna be back in the cd player.
