I was happy to have the book at that time becuase there was so little info about FM available to me ( I got into them around '84 when I was like 10 and had to go to the nearest drugstore to read the mags also
) I was a little surprised by some of the stuff in it, but none of it seemed too farfetched for me to think it was'nt true. The " incident" descibed in the book did'nt really bother me, what bothered me was that he said " would he hit her again? He had done it before" kinda of insinuating that it was a pattern of behavior rather than an isolated incident. Later I heard about Carol Ann and his other girlfriend that he had paid off so she wouldnt talk about him and I really didnt want to believe any of it was true because I really like Lindsey but there was an awful lot of smoke to not be a fire
I like to think if any of this was true he has gotten help with those issues and he seems to be in a much better place these days
