The request was never about the content of
discussions - it was about content of the thread
title. That seems fair/easy enough to me.
I'm an information-scrounger myself, on matters FM, but if some people aren't then I don't see any reason why, in certain instances, this place can't be used as a discussion board
and/or a new information source.
People like Livia have been on here discussing FM in all sorts of ways through many years of virtually zero news or new stuff. I think of, from my experience too, the 'no news' Ledge as the status quo, and the constant stream of developments over the past year as an unusual high point. Lots of new faces to reflect that change of pace. Now, Livia, Deanna and others, get perhaps just one night to enjoy the real deal - a concert. After never having believed for one moment that I'd get to see the band this tour, I know what a big thing an actual 'concert' is compared to years of making polls on favourite album art or making FM spoofs of Big Brother. The Ledge is a great place because it can be used to enjoy the band in these various ways. I think their request is fair.

Sorry for using the term 'threatened'. I guess I was trying to find a word to describe what appeared to me from reading the threads as Livia having no alternative but to leave because some people made it clear that they would not be respecting the 'Spoiler Policy'. Which Janet has now pinned up anyway, to prevent any further confusion and, with any luck, to see an end to this silly debate!
