Me too - I mean MF had not worked in any lucrative way since The Dance. That is a long time when you spend like people say he does. I think LB may have always known the option was there to release only 12 songs, but I think he thought the band might go for releasing more. Who knows what really went down, but I think the compromise of 20 songs (18 + 2) shows this group of strong willed people can work together better as opposed to 15 years ago.
