There are so many to choose from, we could get a good list of freaky movies going.
For those who don't know what a cult film is, it's a movie that's considered to be somewhat rare and something that is considered to be a flop when released. Most cult movies usually weren't released to all theaters, but they have gotten quite popular in recent years. An example would be "The Rocky Horror Picture Show."
Here are mine:
-Any John Waters movie before 1988
-The Rocky Horror Picture Show (duh)
-Mommie Dearest
-Crash (I'm shocked that Holly Hunter and James Spader made this!)
-Any Peter Jackson movie made before the Lord of the Rings trilogy (My absolute faves are Heavenly Creatures, Meet the Feebles, and Dead Alive). The man has made some freaky ****.
-Killer Klowns From Outer Spaces
-Ed Wood (the movie with Johnny Depp, not Ed Wood's actual movies)
-Empire Records
-eXistenZ (so stupid but so good)
-Escape From New York
