At one point, around late 2001, he did plan on releasing several of those Stones covers, like "Gotta Get Away," as part of 'Gift of Screws.' A lot of those just weren't demos -- I know they're widely considered demos, but they were fully mixed studio tracks that were submitted in 2001 as his solo album.
I personally like most of Lindsey's covers, especially "A Satisfied Mind." Has Lindsey ever recorded anything so beautiful?

Hmm. That seems odd to me. Wonder why he'd want to include so many covers of the same group on a solo album? Yes, I love Lindsey's past covers, and I can see even doing one Stones cover and one Donovan cover or something to that effect - but anything more than one Stones cover on a solo album is a really bad idea, IMO. We wanna hear Lindsey, not Lindsey do the Stones. Frankly, that's just common sense. Unless LB is interested in doing some kind of tribute album!
