You've seen me criticize Stevie for doing covers? Let's see the quote. Because, man, I know I'm getting older, but I don't remember EVER picking on Stevie for doing covers. I love covers. I think often when an artist covers someone else's song, they bring new life and freshness to something you're used to hearing in a different way. It can be quite wonderful, actually.
