I see it this way:
Fleetwood Mac got along very well, but Stevie Nicks still likes to nitpick.....while Lindsey Buckingham FIXES the problem...
I did notice how limited Nicks is in her recording skills. She’s still like a new singer-songwriter who just does her homework, shows up and rehearses diligently, nitpicks the decisions her producer/arranger/engineer makes, and then goes home. Doesn’t do anything beyond that. In fact, Nicks hasn't grown in the recording studio since the TUSK video........
Buckingham has learned to engineer since then, and become a vituoso guitar player......
Nicks has been in the music business so long. For example, since she's in her twilight years now, – if she wants something her way which she always does – she should be producing albums like her TISL -- ENTIRELY -- by herself............
