I think the people who bought the album as it was released would have bought the double CD too. Mick was hopeful that the single disc would sell a couple million; I remember him implying that the double would sell 300,000-500,000, and that Lindsey was okay with that.
What is the sales total on SYW? Did it even go gold?

Yes it did go GOLD...it has sold Around 850,000 copies...still not that much better than 300,000 really tho
