This is the first I've heard of a single mix for "Thrown Down"... I've seen some promo CD singles on eBay & etc., but they've all been the album version. From where did you download it?
Are you possibly talking about the version everyone calls the "Wall of Sound Demo"?
I'd love to hear ANY new Mac on the radio, but Houston stations won't touch it. And believe me, I've tried. I've e-mailed, posted on message boards, called the request lines, and even flirted big-time with one of the deejays I met in a bar right after the album came out.
