So that was why Lindsey was drawing out the intro of Come for so long! It was almost like he had forgotten the first notes.
This reminds me that Marcus the security guy told us that Lindsey went on a 5 hour sail around the Harbour etc on Saturday. I think Mick was also on that boat. John however had his own one, which he obviously sailed himself.
You should all be so lucky that Cory might 'screw up' the setlist in future... It might mean you'll get the funny half-song we got, coupled with Stevie's good-humoured antics.
Right after Mick had introduced everyone, then went into a big speil about John calling him the backbone (on Saturday he accidentally called him the 'background' before correcting himself - hahah!!
) of Fleetwood Mac, the best bass player there is, etc etc, John walks up around ot the front to where Mick is and hands him a US dollar bill. It was comedy gold - imagine hearing over 10,000 spontaneously laugh! John should do more comedy routines, he seemes to have a knack!
Oh, and boy did I try to get that dollar bill! I was close, but Mick gallantly gave it to the lady to my left. I even called out 'Lend us a buck!' while he was appraoching, to no avail.
The lady was laughing and smiling when she recieved it, but at the same time she was like 'Arghh, it's sweat!' (The thing was
literally dripping in sweat!
