Stevie's an artist dammit, and what is Lindsey talking about when he says you can't change "tense and person" in he middle of a narrative? Even authors change points of view in novels for formalistic or aesthetic purposes. Stevie is just being post-modern and experimental regardless of when Lindsey says, "your song is straightforward not experimental." Whatever, like he knows what's going on in her head and what she means to do with the song. Anyway, I guess I should wait until Sunday to get the whole story.
