I agree that her parts were more rhythmic in nature, but Christine's keyboards were a major driving force on many great Mac songs. Songs that I think are the best example of this are "Morning Rain," SYLM, YMLF, "I Do," and "Nights In Estoril."

Now, that driving force is gone, and Lindsey has found creative was (as we knew he would) to fill that void. Also, I think John really stands out more with Christine not being there. Granted, it's not rocket science, it is an interesting variation on a classic sound.
