"Character"....sounds a lot like the argument about Clinton from the right during Monicagate. The left didn't think that it mattered that much then...
And, I am sure most people with political ties, both Dem and Rep., tried to pull strings to get out of the war.
I don't think Kerry fighting in Vietnam qualify's him for anything. I think his past voting record is more of a relevant issue. Same for Bush. I hate all this digging into how a candidate acted when they were 20.
I am scared to have Kerry as the head of our military. Didn't he vote against the first Gulf War?
