I'm actually very optimistic!
Optimistic that things will turn around for the better once we get Bush out of office!
I guess the improving economy and new job openings are in other areas, because it's certainly not happening around here.
My aunt works for a geriatric center, and they literally just laid off half of the people in her department alone, and there's talk of additional lay offs within her department.
And it's not just there, but everywhere around here (and, I can only assume, other areas in other states too). And if people don't have employment, then they're not going to be buying cars, or houses, or anything else that will help the economy.
So, things aren't that rosy.
