I would generally agree with this statement. In some cases, it is more like 90/10. That, however, all depends on the artist and how completely they are able to realize the vision of a song in the demo process. My own estimation of Lindsey's production skills skyrocketed when I heard the finished version of "Thrown Down." The TISL demo of that song is nearly unlistenable IMO. I thought it couldn't be saved, and felt there was barely a song there at all. In it's present form, I think it is a solid piece of work. For that feat I give Lindsey major credit.
