Well I alway get in on these threads at the end *dang*...
I thought the song did sound a little out of place on the album (but so did WTTR...S). Only Seven Wonders seemed to really fit. But I am glad it wasn't a piano ballad. The keyboard and then the ______'s (? Marachas or whatever-the rubbing metal on metal kinda sound?) at the end kind of give it a quirkiness -for a ballad at least-which I think does help it to fit. I don't think a song has to be lyrically brilliant to move you. Simple pop songs generally aren't brilliant lyrically. Everywhere comes to mind: simple lyrics/sort of a fluff song, but I love it Everytime that I have ever heard it.
