Not sure where anyone comes up with "body shaming" and "degradation" from noting that yes in fact someone is close to 80 years old and the effects of that are more visible than ever. It has implications for any plans for mounting a big reunion tour or whatever this bunch of people may be thinking. Lindsey has noticeably aged; he's pushing 80; these are facts. It makes clear how much previous touring and that massively energetic performance he did every night kept him fit. He has not been doing that, and at his age, might realistically not be able to return to that level of performance energy again. Pointing out that he's not as trim and fit as when he was touring is just an observation, just like people mentioning that John is very gaunt and frail looking since his whole cancer experience, or that Stevie has noodle hair. BTW she has also been impacted by the effects of aging... she has had mobility issues and has admitted to having vision degradations (I think she said wet macular degeneration). THE POINT is that they are indeed OLD PEOPLE. At some point they will need to accept that what they may envision doing in their heads is not what their bodies will permit them to do anymore. This should factor into decisions they make. They certainly don't have to hide away; look at Joni Mitchell who has managed to perform in some more limited ways sitting in a chair onstage. There's nothing wrong with that; not everyone is Mick Jagger at 80 and really not even Mick Jagger. Mick Fleetwood seems pretty fit I must say, but he's always posting images/videos of himself working out on his socials, so he's clearly working at it and doesn't seem to have any major health issues at the moment. Same can't be said for his fellow band members. A show at The Sphere? OK maybe, but a big tour? Seems tricky. (and I am NOT chomping at the bit for a Sphere show either).
