Yeah it was silly. Robin was her friend and when a band or organization puts them on a payroll I suppose they need some sort of title. It was one big party train. Any real vocal coach would say stop smoking Kool Mild 100s and snorting so much cocaine and your voice will do better. But I doubt those were options.
One fascinating thing about Stevie is how she hired her friends for make up, back up singers, voice therapy, and hair back in the day.
Speaking of Mick's book did not Mick say Stevie called him up one day to chew him out how low he was paying the assistants and Stevie gave them all a couple hundred dollar raise.
