The 1980 Contemporary Keyboard article on Christine McVie mentioned the following keyboards in her setup for the Tusk tour:
A Hammond B-3 organ, a Yamaha CP-30 electronic piano, and two acoustic Yamaha pianos, specifically a console and a grand
She also previously used a Fender Rhodes, Hohner Pianet, and an ARP String Ensemble. 21st century synthesizers can emulate most of the sonic textures provided by more vintage keyboards, so as a matter of convenience, it's more ergonomic and practical to carry fewer keyboards onstage now compared to the 1970s. Having a second keyboardist further lessened the burden of Christine covering every little keyboard sound heard on the studio recordings.
