I was so excited to get my hands on this. I was horrified when I heard Paper Doll and Make Me a Mask, but eventually came to appreciate them for what they are- PD being an unsalvageable song that even Lindsey couldn’t make into a decent song, and MMAM being a song that Lindsey clearly pulled from his trash can when Mick called him begging for something, anything he could put on the boxset.
I loved Love Shines and Heart of Stone, and feel sad we couldn’t get more of Christine with a producer like Patrick Leonard. I appreciated the pre-Buckingham Nicks songs, especially Sentimental Lady and Black Magic Woman, as well as the live version of Stand Back.
