Ok, are we really doing this. Explaining how solo albums work?

Lindsey is already confirmed to be playing and singing on the new album Mick has been working on for at least the last year. The producer of the Album is a dude called Carl Fark.

Lindsey has in the past used other musicians and collaborators on his solo records, but on the whole, he writes, produce's, engineers and plays everything on his records.

Stevie is not a musician, we all know this by now. Of course she needs others to produce, engineer, and play on her records.

Regarding Mick's records being deemed a 'solo' albums. If it has his name on it and other musicians record the vocals and instrumentation it's still a solo album. The Zoo was a collection of musicians that Mick had been gigging with in LA when FM was on hiatus 'I'm Not Me' is a great album, better than some of SN late 80's output. That album had a song of Lindsey's that he sung lead on. The Visitor was a different beast all together, frankly, Mick went to Africa to play with percussionists well before Paul Simon made 'Graceland'. It's also a bloody solid album.

Chris's, solo albums always had tunes not written by her. John had an album with his name on it, but obviously only played the bass.

It will be interesting to see how this album plays out. I won't be shocked if Mick has some great collabs on here. Big names singing lead and famous musicians playing on it.
