When I heard the first Pointer Sister singing the opening lines of Hypnotized, I swore it was Bob Welch.

Hooray for this chilled cover of WMYTYTO. Great find.
Coffee-house cover of The Ledge by Nickel Creek is also a treat, glad to come across it again.
The Sisters Of The Moon electropop cover is a pretty interpretation.
A couple of my other favorite "covers" not included in this list are the joyous Cut Copy mashup of Never Forget and Lifelike's So Electric (
YouTube), and
Bob Welch's smouldering Silver Heels cover "Hustler" (nsfw) (
YouTube).
Leo Kotke's World Turning and Ari Hest's Little Lies are also solid.
Here's some bonus cover trivia for you David, as a reward.
In the Buckingham Nicks version of Crystal, Lindsey initially pronounces the initial "i" in "initial" with the standard "I" vowel sound. Then on the 1975 album he regresses to a sloppy schwa ("uh-nitial"). Speech Communications major Stevie salvages the situation in the Practical Magic cover of the song years later, in which the pronunciation is restored to its first, initial feeling.
