Flash forward to 2013 and it happens again with a neutered Sisters Of The Moon. FM had a knack for dusting off some of their most intense songs and finding a way to remove all of their spunk.
All of those amazing guitar "arpeggio" type lines played during Sara between 79/82? - gone like they never happened between '04-'15.

Can’t we blame Rhiannon earlier than that? I think the guitar solo was neutered in 1990.
As for Sisters, I rather enjoyed it in 2013 and in no way expected it to be anything like it was in 1982. They could’ve played a similar arrangement to 1982 but Stevie’s inability to sing or perform it like she did 30 years prior would’ve made it quite a disaster. I didn’t think it was awful in 2013 and given its place in the middle of the set (vs final encore like it was in the 1979-82 days) it was serviceable. I also think it got better in 2014 when Chris was back and started adding little things with the keys.
