These big concerts with the stars of yesteryear are really just a lot of expensive claptrap and virtual reality. The only time you can hear the singer singing in the moment is to see a young rock band or an opera. Everything else is so after the glitter fades. There’s more corruption at the heart of the music industry than probably ever before. Technology has only brought us trompe-l'śil and sleight-of-hand.
