How accurate is that statement, or when and where was taken, I don't know.
Maybe I'm wrong, but to qualify them as "contributions" would imply more important, frequent role. I would say they were more kind of spontaneous moments. Even if they were planned, they were like when John sang Say You Love me in 1997.
Growing up there were all sort of photos of her playing acoustic guitar on stage before the tambourine took over.
Consult Mick's book because something tells me something was in one of his books about finding her something to do on stage. It was not until rehearsing for the Rumours tour that you would never see an acoustic guitar in her hands again
