This is pretty fascinating, and I hope someone out there is saving all these pictures since I'm guessing this webpage isn't permanent and all this will disappear after the auction is over.
The one that made me a little emotional was the
dog pillows with the names of her two dogs. They must have been far more personal and sentimental to her than all the jewelry in the auction. I found
this interview from 2004 where she says Dougall and George run her life completely.
Imagine the surprise if Lindsey were perusing this website to see Carol Ann Harris' book among her possessions!!!
Actually, I'm wondering if some of these items weren't actually owned by Christine and they were just thrown in. Would she actually have had a
touring wardrobe hamper in her possesion? Sounds like the type of thing that would be in storage for the band as a whole.
There is a
photograph of one of Stevie's drawing that is already at $1,000. Not the original drawing. Just a photograph of the drawing. I don't understand how that I something to pay $1,000 for. You could literally just have the picture from the website printed out on high-quality photographic paper and it would not substantively be any different.
