At various times, I’ve read comments from Lindsey, Stevie, Keith Olson, and even Waddy, that SOMEONE else is always holding up the rerelease. For the past 30 years, I firmly believe that there are hidden factors holding up a possible rerelease, whether it’s the record company, trademark issues, or even ownership of the masters. I do not understand how Stevie was able to release Long Distance Winner on her Enchanted box set but the album itself can’t be rereleased. Maybe Lindsey should just put his tracks on one of his new albums, and Stevie could put her tracks on one of her new albums, and that way everyone would win.
At least the bootlegs are freely available for purchase.
