she was indeed. Yeesh..that's quite a picture lol. John did not grow up in a politically correct era, it seems in those days prejudice against jewish people was rampant. i found an old article years ago where he described Peter as a 'cocky Jewboy'. in the guy's account where peter was teasing john about screwing the arse off christine perfect, an irritated john went up to the mike and said, 'You f*%ing jew.'
even myself growing up, i can remember somebody in my family talking about buying a new car and trying to get a lower price, and they used the phrase, 'i tried to jew him down.' i suppose those sorts of comments were just commonplace then, unfortunately.
christine's costume is another doozy haha. but again, i guess that stuff was sort of 'accepted'.
